I think sort of like Hillary Clinton thinks.  But with a twist.

Why don't we give every person who turns 21, one million dollars to start their life with.

Then, if they fail, we just let them fail.

Law of the jungle.  Only the strong or witty survive.

No further help.  No bailouts.  They must purchase a lifetime policy for health care as a condition of receiving the one million.  They can, if they chose, get an education with the money, or bank the money and get a job.  Or, as many will, just buy a bunch of video games, a convertible and drive it to Vegas.

We would not tax that million, but would tax any other money they earn or receive through whatever means.

Sorry, but it would not be retroactive, so most of us are out.  But the future could be brite for the coming generations.

As time goes by, we would have to factor in an increase in the one million, based on inflation rates.
